What is County Law Contract Services:
County Law Contract Services is an agreement with communities and the County of Hamlin to provide a number of patrol hours to the community each week.  The number of hours are set by the community and can be changed from year to year depending on criminal activity and other matters.  This contract services is great for community to do proactive law enforcement and to help prevent crime.  Currently, Hamlin County has four communities that are part of the County Law Contract Services with the other two communities with their own city police department.  The result of these contracts are that the county was able to hire two full-time deputies to help service the community as well as the county.  If these contact services were not in place, the quality of services would be diminish for citizens.

Castlewood: 25 Hours a Week Hazel: 2 Hours a Week
Dempster: Not Incorporated Lake Norden: 20 Hours a Week
