Hazmat Driver Fingerprinting Application Process:

1. An application has to be completed at www.hazprints.com or over the phone at 1-877-429-7746. This has to be done before being fingerprinted.
2. A hard copy of the application must be completely filled out. You will need to sign your application at the fingerprint site (Hamlin County Sheriff's Office).
3. The Chain of Custody form must be fully completed and checked by the fingerprint operator.
4. Failure to complete steps 1, 2, 3 can delay your application 3-4 weeks.
5. Once Steps 1, 2 and 3 are done, you may make an appointment.  Appointment information for the Hamlin County Sheriff's Office is posted below.

Please contact Sheriff Mack during normal business hours (8:00am to 5:00pm; Monday to Friday) to make your appointment.  Your appointment needs to be in before noon on Tuesday afternoon.  Hazmat printing is normally done between 8:30am to 11:00am on Wednesday mornings.  If a different day or time is needed, please contact Sheriff Mack, 24 hours before hand at (605) 783-3232.  PLEASE DO NOT E-MAIL TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT.   If you have any questions, please contact Sheriff Mack.
