The Hamlin County Sheriff's Office would like to welcome you to our department's website. Our office is located on the main floor of the courthouse at 300 4th Street in Hayti, SD. Our four full-time officers provides a number of services to it's citizens such as... security to the courts, civil paper service, investigates crimes, does traffic enforcement, investigates accidents, is active in school programs, does community classes, provides all types of fingerprinting, takes part in the caring tree bike program, transport prisoners, keeps up with sex offenders records, provides 24/7 alcohol program, takes in part in the state project 8 child seats services, does basic patrol in about 538 square miles, responds to a number of calls of services and so much more.
